What we publish
Self-Running Plant publishes research for the people who run industrial operations on one question: how a plant’s management system can run and assess itself continuously, every shift, and tell leaders where it is drifting.
Editorial standards
How we source, check and correct our work.
- Sourcing. Figures come from named public datasets, published studies and standards, cited at source with the unit, population and period. Where we build a model, every assumption is shown.
- Methods. Each report and exhibit states how its numbers were produced and what they do and do not show. See Methods.
- Corrections. A corrections address will be published here before launch (placeholder). Errors are fixed in the piece and noted on it.

Evidence rules
- Every number carries its unit, population, period and source.
- Estimates and ranges are marked as such.
- Placeholder or illustrative data is labeled on every exhibit that uses it, and is never presented as evidence.
- Images are conceptual only and never used as evidence. Imagery created with AI tools is credited once, in the site footer.
